City Care Network
This small but enthusiastic organisation operates under the funding guidelines of Home and Community Care, and is supported by Bethlehem, St Stephen’s and Immanuel Lutheran congregations.
City Care Network is committed to providing practical volunteer support for the frail and elderly, as well as for disabled younger people and their carers. This support aims to meet their physical, social and spiritual needs, helping them to live independently in the community.
City Care Network organizes, co-ordinates and supports volunteers as they assist people with any of the following: a friendly chat and company; help with shopping and banking; small tasks around the home; minor home maintenance; light gardening; transport for appointments.
