The Sanctuary Guild at Bethlehem attends to the needs and beautification of the sanctuary of our church. This includes flower arrangements, paraments, altar and baptismal linens, candles, and the care of communion ware.
This dedicated group of women also serves by attending to the needs of the Bethlehem property kitchens, and runs two catering groups, one for funerals and another for general catering.
The guild is involved in many other activities of service, including raising funds to support the needs of the congregation and the Lutheran Women organizations.
The Sanctuary Guild meets on the second Tuesday of every month (except January), usually at 7.30 pm, for Bible study, fellowship and service.
Anyone wishing to come to one of the meetings (this includes men as well!) will be warmly welcomed. Besides the work to be done, there is always a lot of fun, fellowship and support.
