More than 30 members from Bethlehem took up the invitation to join with the other city churches to celebrate in Hindmarsh Square on Sunday 29th March.
By the end of the day, various members of Bethlehem had shared the love of Jesus with at least eight people from Afghanistan, East Turkistan, Holland and Japan! A few asked if they could take the free Bibles that were on offer “just to practice their English”. Of course our prayer is that they will read the Good News and that the Holy Spirit will work in their hearts.
Email addresses were exchanged, future meetings for coffee were organised by some, and one girl ask if she could come to our church some time just to see what Christians believed. When someone was invited to the ‘Introducing God’ course soon to be started, the response was, “That would be really good for me because then I could practise my English!”
God moves in amazing ways. Please continue to pray for the ongoing work of this ministry within our city.
