Church Life

Many Bethlehem members participate in activities throughout the week to learn, to encourage each other, to serve together and to enjoy each other's company. There are opportunities catering for all age groups and interests.

The Mums and Kids Group is a chance for mothers and their preschool children to meet and socialise, while  Bethlehem Kids is a learning time for children from 3-12 years held each Sunday morning during the school term.

Youth and Young Adults meet regularly for Bible study and a variety of social and service activities.

A range of Bible Study and Home Groups take place during the day or evening to focus on God’s word and to encourage each other in a life of faith.

Other Christian Education opportunities include Vespers Studies held before selected Vespers services from 5:45pm to 6:45pm, and Sunday Bible Studies .

Lunch in the Stables is another opportunity on one Sunday each month for Bethlehem members, friends and visitors of all ages to socialise and enjoy each other’s company over a light meal.

The Womens Guild and the Sanctuary Guild are attended mainly by women, though men are also welcome. Both groups aim to enrich the spiritual life of their members and also to serve the congregation, the wider church and the community.

Special interest groups include Petra, a group for men of all ages; and a Book Club which provides a chance to connect with other readers and discuss worthwhile novels.
