150th anniversary of the opening and dedication of Bethlehem Lutheran Church
The 150th anniversary of the opening and dedication of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Flinders Street Adelaide, will be celebrated on Sunday 26 June 2022. There will be a combined service at 10.00am, with hymns and readings from the original dedication. The choir will process, and it will be a grand occasion to which all are welcome.
Then there will be a community lunch following the service at 12 noon, to which people are asked to bring a plate of savory finger food to share.
Dr Lois Zweck OAM will deliver a brief address about the challenging project 150 years ago, and there will be an historical display from the Bethlehem Archives.
All are welcome, especially former members and those who share in the history of this building in any special way.
