Outstanding youth choir, St Peters Chorale from St Peters Lutheran College, Brisbane is touring South Australia between Sunday 18 June until Sunday 25 June. This award-winning choir will perform a free concert in Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Friday 23 June commencing at 7:00 pm.
St Peters Chorale has a national and international reputation for championing works by Australian composers as well as performing major works from the great European tradition of choral music. Their concert program will include a wide variety of styles and genres including works selected from choral classics by composers such as Mozart, Finzi, Vittoria and Stanford; works by Australian composers including Stephen Leek, Elena Kats-Chernin and Luke Byrne as well as spirituals, folksongs and a little bit of jazz.
St Peters Chorale is excited to be visiting Bethlehem Lutheran Church and is looking forward to sharing their passion for choral music with those who can join them for the concert in person and those who join them via the livestream.
