O God, since You gave Your only Son, Jesus Christ, to suffer death upon the cross for our redemption, and to deliver us from the power of the enemy by His glorious resurrection: Grant us so to die daily to sin, that we may live for ever with Him who died and rose again for us; through Your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen
